Man accused of flying drone over royal palaces and football stadiums
A MAN has been charged with flying a drone over landmarks including Buckingham Palace and the Houses of Parliament.
Nigel Wilson allegedly filmed football matches at stadiums, as well as royal palaces
Nigel Wilson is also accused of using it over packed football stadiums, such as Liverpool's Anfield ground and Arsenal's Emirates base.
Among matches covered by the charges are a north London derby between Arsenal and Tottenham Hotspur and Liverpool's match against Aston Villa.
The 42 year old is said to have breached laws which prevent unmanned surveillance aircraft being flown too close to crowded places without permission.
Wilson, from Nottingham, will appear at City of Westminster magistrates court on April 16 to face 17 charges.
