The Strictly Come Dancing star was in Edinburgh for the event, which she co-hosted with two serving soldiers.
The scheme is called Tea & Toast, from the military tradition of having a cup of tea and slice of toast at break times even when on operations, as a comforting reminder of home.
It was launched last year but has been extended to include variations such as a cream tea, toasted with a glass of fizz.
Judy was joined by Sgt Stephanie Sanderson and Lance Cpl Amy Sutherland from 2 SCOTS (The Royal Highland Fusiliers 2nd Battalion the Royal Regiment of Scotland).
She said: “I’m thrilled to be launching this fundraiser. We need to raise money all year to support the Armed Forces community and this is a simple but fabulous way to do that.”
