SAVVY upmarket shoppers are increasingly being enticed into Aldi and Lidl, according to a report yesterday.

The supermarkets are attracting more posh shoppers than ever with consumers from the highest AB socioeconomic group now making up 31 per cent of all customers, says consultancy Him!
And increasing numbers are using the stores for a main shop rather than top-ups.
Trade magazine The Grocer said the figures are a huge increase on 2013 when just 12 per cent of shoppers at the stores from the AB group.
