We're going to Brazil! Wayne Rooney and Steven Gerrard secure England's place at World Cup
ENGLAND fans were left jubilant after the 3 Lions booked their place at the 2014 World Cup after beating Poland in a crucial qualifier at Wembley tonight.
Wayne Rooney and Steven Gerrard scored as Roy Hodgson's men won 2-0 to to top Group H and secure automatic passage to the tournament in Brazil next year.
The crucial result means England topped the group by just a point and avoided a potential nerve wracking play off with Portugal or France.
A goal from Manchester United striker Rooney on 41 minutes put England in front before Liverpool star and 3 Lions captain Gerrard put the result beyond doubt on 88 minutes.

Speaking after the match on ITV, Gerrard said: "We know there is a great togetherness in the squad, and that is all that matters. We performed under tremendous pressure."
While Rooney said the squad's mix of young and exprienced players suits the 3 Lions.
He said: "We have some fantastic young players in our team, with some great experience. It is a good blend, it is good times for England."
England's trip to the 2014 World Cup in Brazil will be Hodgson's second time in charge of a national team in the world's biggest competition.
He previously managed Sweden in the 1994 World Cup in America, managing to take the club out of the group stages.
