Beach visitor left floored after police track her down to warn her for taking PEBBLES
POLICE left a woman stunned after they tracked her down following a visit to the beach to warn her for taking pebbles to put in her back garden.
The 39-year-old was approached by the police after an eye-witness took down her registration number and reported it to the authorities.
The woman was warned she had broken the law after taking the pebbles from the shore in Felixstowe, Suffolk.
The eyewitness had told officers she had seen three adults and a child filling up to six bags with shingles twice before they drove away.
The unnamed woman from Ipswich was given a community resolution by the police.
