Neighbours held over fire deaths of children
DETECTIVES investigating a fire in which a woman and two children died have arrested their neighbours on suspicion of murder.
Lee-Anna Shiers, 20, died with Bailey Allen, four, and Skye Allen, two, in the blaze in a first-floor flat in Prestatyn, North Wales, on Friday night.
The two children were related to Lee-Anna but she was not their mother, police said.
Her 15-month-old son, Charlie, was in critical condition in hospital last night. His father Liam Timbrell, 23, who was treated for serious injuries, was critical but stable.
The neighbours, a man aged 45 and a woman of 42, lived on the ground floor.
