Two suspected terrorists arrested at Heathrow Airport
TWO people suspected of committing terrorism offences have been arrested at Heathrow Airport and taken into custody.
A man and a woman were arrested early this morning by officers from the Metropolitan Police's Counter Terrorism Command on suspicion of the commission, preparation or instigation of acts of terrorism.
It is believed that the arrests were carried out to stop the pair, who had flown into Britain from Egypt, travelling to Syria in support of alleged terrorist activity.
There are concerns that more and more foreign nationals are traveling to Syria with the intention of supporting jihadist movements.

In August, Khalid Mahmood, Labour MP for Birmingham Perry Barr, told the BBC that a number of people in his constituency were traveling to the war-torn Middle Eastern state, and that he expected this to increase.
The nationalities of the arrested pair are yet to be released although two residential addresses in east London are being searched.
