Google sued by Max Mosley over breaching German privacy laws
GOOGLE is being sued by Formula One boss Max Mosley over claims the search engine has broken German privacy laws.
The Formula One boss claims that Google has provided links to websites hosting hidden-camera video of him at a sadomasochistic sex party.
The case is part of legal action that Mosley claims to be taking in more than 20 countries around the world.
Mosley was not present as the case opening this morning.
The Formula One boss successfully sued a British tabloid in 2008 claiming the story was an outrageous invasion of privacy.
