Kate is epitomy of elegance in Singaporean designer dress
THE Duchess of Cambridge was the epitomy of elegance today as she arrived with Prince William for a meeting with the Singapore head of state.
The royal couple were given an official guard of honour welcome at Istana - the offiical residence of President Tony Tan Keng Yam - before having an informal meeting with the Singapore head of state, and Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong.
Kate, lit up the room in a stunning purple and white knee-length dress by Singaporean-born designer Prabul Gurung.

Kate looked on as Prince William inspected the troops, stopping to chat with a couple of them.
The Duke and Duchess will later attend a state reception and dinner which is being staged in their honour.
Prince William is expected to make a speech to the guests.
Earlier the same day, Kate wore a kimono style dress, which is in keeping with the style of the day's events.
