Wayne Rooney sharpens up with a buzz cut
WAYNE Rooney stepped out at Euro 2012 training yesterday – sporting this bizarre new haircut.
The Manchester United striker, suspended for England’s first two games, decided to try his chances with a local Krakow barber.
The 26-year-old’s wispy brown barnet, above right, was clipped into this retro 1980s buzz cut – shorn at the sides but with a mighty quiff at the front.
Wayne famously copped some flak last year when he revealed he had spent £30,000 on a hair transplant. When asked if Wayne had taken some ribbing for his latest style team-mate Danny Welbeck said: “He hasn’t had any stick, no.”
But he explained Wayne wasn’t the only footballer who had his hair lopped off in a make-shift salon in the players’ hotel.
Danny said: “A barber came in and set up his own barber shop in Ashley Young’s room. A lot of the players
A lot of the players and staff have had their hair cut, but not me
