Prince Charles and Camilla join London street party as thousands take part across the coun
PRINCE CHARLES and Camilla had a full day of activity today as they joined one of the many street parties going on across the country.
Camilla and Charles joined the street party in London's Piccadilly where they took their seats at a table where the table cloth, plates and even a cake were decorated with the red, white and blue union flag.
The royal couple were surrounded by dozens of onlookers, many holding up camera phones trying to get a picture of them as they joined the Big Jubilee lunch.
Camilla is patron of the Big Jubilee lunch, led by the Eden Project, which aims to encourage neighbourhoods to come together to share lunch and a few hours of community, friendship and fun.
The royal couple were joined by Princesses Beatrice and Eugenie at the event.

Charles, wearing his trademark double breasted suit, and Camilla, dressed in a raincoat, stopped to chat to revellers in the street.
The event stems from the Big Lunch movement, which started in 2009 and which last year saw almost two million people get together in their local communities.
Thousands of street parties took place across the country today to celebrate the Queen's big day.
Prime Minister David Cameron was one of those to hold a Jubilee street party.
The event, which was part of the Big Jubilee lunch invited guests to Downing Street.
Local branches of the Scout Association, Girlguiding UK, Age UK and Contact the Elderly joined the staff from Downing street, and the party atmosphere was created with games, music and face painting.
