Inspired by Kate... Camilla in £129 dress
CAMILLA took a leaf out of her daughter-in-law Kate’s fashion book yesterday by wearing a cut-price dress.
The Duchess of Cambridge has set a personal trend for wearing high street outfits, favouring brands like Reiss and Zara. Now she has been outdone by Camilla.
The Duchess of Cornwall wore a £129 polyester dress in navy from Swindon mail order catalogue company Artigiano to host a royal reception for women of achievement at Clarence House.
Camilla, 64, won praise for her bargain look.
Fashion designer Amanda Wakeley, who was at the event, said: “I just think she looks incredibly elegant.”
Camilla in turn praised Artigiano as “really, really good”, adding: “They’ve got a sale on at the moment.”
Other guests included comic Ruby Wax and author Kathy Lette.
