Wayne Rooney keeps his new £30,000 hair under his sunhat
WAYNE Rooney unveiled his new £30,000 hair transplant on Twitter...but he had to keep it under his hat on holiday in Barbados.
Wayne Rooney covered up his head with a cap as he and wife Coleen played in the sunny Caribbean with their 18-month-old son Kai.
The 25-year-old striker gave an explanation on Twitter.
“Just chilling by the pool with @ColeenRoo and Kai. Weather is to hot for my pale skin. Gotta keep my hat on to. #hairwego,” he wrote.
On an earlier post, Wayne admitted that following the transplant, the top of his head was not a pretty sight, writing that it was “still a bit bloody” when he posted a blurry picture of it.
Baby Kai’s head was also well covered with a striped hat but Coleen, 25, just relied on sunglasses for protection. She seemed to be enjoying her holiday, writing on Twitter: “Here in sunny Barbados safe and sound!!! Just in the kids pool making friends haha x”.
The couple regularly holiday in Barbados, where they have a £5million house overlooking Mullins beach on the west of the island.
