Suit that's fit for Prince William
PRINCE William is to be given a Savile Row suit made from the finest £1,400-a-metre cloth.
A hundred Australian wool growers got together to ship their best merino wool to be spun into cloth by renowned Taylor and Lodge mill in Huddersfield, West Yorkshire.
Prince William will receive the grey pinstripe in time for his honeymoon and first tour with his bride to Canada in June.
Palace insiders say he described it as “a lovely idea”.
Taylor and Lodge manager Edward Waterhouse said: “It is a great honour. It’s impossible to put a value on the suit itself because it is truly a one-off.”
