Drivers on a busy stretch of the M4 are facing traffic chaos this evening after a crash and "spillage" sparked huge delays. Three lanes of four are closed on the westbound carriageway in Berkshire between junctions 10 and 11.
The crash has resulted in a "significant spillage" on the motorway. Recovery vehicles have rushed to the scene. National Highways wrote on X: "Lanes 1, 2 and 3 (of 4) remain closed on the #M4 westbound in #Berkshire between J10-J11 due to a collision. Recovery is on scene for the vehicles. There is also a significant spillage which is being treated. Current delays of 60 minutes on approach, with 6 miles of congestion."
