Female Met Police officer charged with sexually assaulting woman
PC Julie Bragg will appear in court on Wednesday.

A serving Metropolitan police officer has been charged with sexual assault, the force has said today.
PC Julie Bragg, who is attached to the North West Command Unit, is accused of assaulting a woman known to her on Thursday, August 15, 2024, while she was off-duty.
She was suspended that same month and will appear at Westminster Magistrates' Court on Wednesday, April 23.
A spokesperson for the Met said: "A serving Metropolitan officer has been charged with sexual assault. PC Julie Bragg, attached to the Met’s North West Command Unit, will appear at Westminster Magistrates’ Court on Wednesday, 23 April.
"The sexual assault of a woman known to PC Bragg is alleged to have taken place on Thursday, 15 August 2024 while PC Bragg was off-duty. PC Bragg was suspended from duty in August 2024.
"The Met’s Directorate of Professional Standards is aware."
