Tesco Clubcard holders can bag 5,000 bonus points before May 4
Tesco loyalty members can use their Clubcard to get bonus points before a May deadline.

Tesco Clubcard holders can get a bonus 5,000 points with Virgin before May 4 as part of a new offer.
Virgin Atlantic Flying Club is one of the supermarket chain’s exclusive rewards partners, allowing loyalty shoppers to double the value of their Clubcard points when they make a purchase with the airline. But a new deal will allow Clubcard members who sign up to a Virgin Points programme for the first time by May 4 to receive 5,000 bonus Virgin Points.
As a member of Virgin Atlantic Flying Club, you’ll be able to earn points every time you travel with Virgin Atlantic, or one of its partners such as Air France and KLM, and these can be exchanged for reward flights and upgrades, or you can combine your points with money to pay less for your next flight. And as an added bonus, Virgin Points don’t have an expiry date so once you're earned them they are yours to keep for as long as you like.
To convert your Clubcard points into Virgin Points, you must be a Clubcard member and member of a Virgin Points programme - Virgin Red or Virgin Atlantic Flying Club.
Tesco says you must remain signed up to automatically exchange your Clubcard points into Virgin Points on May 4, and have a minimum of 250 Clubcard points.
The supermarket explains: “To receive 5,000 bonus Virgin Points you must:
sign up for the first time between 00:00 BST, 27 January 2025 and 23:59 BST, 4 May 2025 to automatically exchange your Tesco Clubcard points to Virgin Points via the Flying Club programme
remain signed up to automatically exchange your Tesco Clubcard points to Virgin Points on 4 May 2025;
have at least 250 Tesco Clubcard points in your Tesco Clubcard account as of 4 May 2025.
“If you meet the above criteria, 5,000 Virgin Points will be awarded to your Flying Club account by 1 June 2025.”

Clubcard members won’t be eligible for the 5,000 bonus points if they have already previously signed up to automatically exchange their Clubcard points to Virgin Points, or if you have a Clubcard household account and one member has previously signed up to automatically exchange Clubcard points to Virgin Points.
If you don’t have a Tesco Clubcard it is free to register for one online. Shoppers can earn Clubcard points for every £1 spent at Tesco and these can be turned into vouchers, with every 150 points worth £1.50 in Clubcard vouchers.
The vouchers remain valid for two years and can be spent in store or online, and can be doubled in value when redeemed with one of Tesco’s 100 Reward Partners, which include Disney+, Virgin Atlantic Flying Club, ASK Italian, Pizza Express, the RAC and Cineworld.
