A nationwide hunt has been launched to find a mum and her son after they went missing around three weeks ago.

Anxhelina, 32, and her child Rojs, 11, were reported missing to the police force in Tameside, Greater Manchester, in mid-September.

Great Manchester Police (GMP) Tameside has this week shared a fresh appeal, informing the public that the search continues.

It read: "We are continuing to appeal for any information around missing Anxhelina (32) and Rojs (11) who have been missing from Hyde since Thursday 19 September 2024.

"We believe that they have links to the North East, London and Scotland.

"Officers are becoming increasingly concerned for their welfare."
