One person wrote on Tripadvisor Forum: "Beautiful views! The smell of the lavender is incredible. Always a wide variety of things to buy. The lavender ice cream is delicious! There are plenty of spaces in the car park, but luckily Lullingstone is a small walk away. Would be great if there were a cafe to overlook the fields and river."

Another person said: "We are local and visit several times a year. (The walks nearby are spectacular; park in the nearby Lullingstonecountry Park which is also well worth a visit and a good combination) In the summer, go to the lavender festival and to admire the stunning lavender fields. The massages in the middle of a lavender field are quite the experience. Apple picking in autumn is fun. The shop, open year-round, sells high quality, interesting, and sometimes quirky food, gifts, and of course oodles of lavender-related products. Not cheap, but you get what you pay for! The home-reared beef is also excellent."
