Horror as car 'deliberately set on fire' with two children inside in Leeds
A 19-year-old woman has been arrested on suspicion of arson in relation to the incident and remains in custody. Enquiries are ongoing
A woman had to rescue her two children from her car amid reports that it was deliberastely set on fire.
The drama unfolded in Leeds on Thursday evening as rioting took place in another part of the city in the Harehills area.
It happened more than two miles away in Tong Way and is not understood to be connected to the riots.
A woman has been arrested on suspicion of arson in connection with the fire.

A West Yorkshire Police spokesperson said: "At 10.52pm onThursday 18 July, a woman reported her car had been deliberately set alight while two her children were still in the vehicle in Tong Way, Leeds.
"She and a neighbour brought the children to safety, and they were checked over by ambulance staff with no concerns found.
"A 19-year-old woman has been arrested on suspicion of arson in relation to the incident and remains in custody. Enquiries are ongoing."
