Peckish Fish and Chips, in Camelford, Cornwall has been named as one of the best chippies in the country, according to a new ranking based on Google, TripAdvisor and Instagram ratings.
A town in north Cornwall, where people may have "driven through it without stopping" now has another proud accolade to its name. Camelford, located on the River Camel, is now home to one of the UK's best fish and chip shops.
The staple British dish has always been a tough one to get spot on, and with various culinary awards out there, one small outlet has been named as one of the best in the country. Peckish Fish and Chips has been bestowed the prestigious title thanks to a culmination of reviews from from Google, TripAdvisor and Instagram.
The rankings were determined by a unique index score, taking into account the number of hashtags and views each spot had accumulated on Instagram, as well as their TripAdvisor rankings. The lower the overall index score, the higher the ranking.
Topping the list in a tie for first place were East Coast in Musselburgh, Scotland, and Fish Lounge in South West London, both clearly adored by the public, reports Cornwall Live.
