A beautiful village just outside London is so in-demand that buyers don't think twice about snapping up million pound homes - without even seeing them first.
Cobham in Surrey has been included on the Telegraph’s list of Britain’s 50 most desirable places to live in.
The village, which sits on the River Mole, has a number of independent shops on the high street as well as pubs and greens.
Cobham is the most expensive place to buy a home on the Telegraph’s list, with people even buying homes before they’ve seen them, according to a local estate agent.
“I have clients moving from Singapore who’ve done just that – it just is a lovely place to live,” said Richard Winter, who runs his own firm.
According to Rightmove, the average house price in Cobham is £1,474,778 and on Zoopla it is £1,287,232.
Among things to do in the nearby area are Painshill Gardens, the Crystal Grotto, RHS Garden Wisley and Brooklands Museum.
Lucian Cook, head of residential research for Savills, said: “It’s worth noting that this location is not a second-home hotspot.
“It is an aspirational, affluent place that attracts incoming wealth with good schools and a strong quality of housing stock where residents are economically active who are building up their property and personal wealth.”

Other desirable places included on the Telegraph’s list were Harpenden in Hertfordshire, Beaconsfield in Buckinghamshire, Sevenoaks in Kent and Henley-on-Thames in Oxfordshire.
