Lord Lucan's family silver to be auctioned
FAMILY silver sold by Lord Lucan months before he vanished is to be auctioned.
Richard John Bingham, the seventh earl, had huge gambling debts and went missing the day after his children’s murdered nanny was found at the family’s London home in 1974.
The 18 George lll soup plates with the family crest were bought by a close member of his family, and are to be sold in Dorchester, Dorset, tomorrow.
