Michelle torn between family and TV switch to Los Angeles
LINGERIE tycoon Michelle Mone is considering a move to America to work on a high-profile television show.
The businesswoman is mulling over a new life in Los Angeles. Michelle, 38, a regular pundit on the BBC’s Apprentice, revealed on a social networking site that she is torn between the offer and her family – husband Michael, and children Rebecca, Declan, and Bethany.
Michelle said on her site: “It would initially be for a year but huge decision as I would have to take kids out of school.”
Her dilemma comes as plans for an extravagant extension to the family home in Thortonhall, Lanarkshire, have been given the go-ahead. The project includes a swimming pool and Jacuzzi, sauna, gym, bar and cinema room.
Michelle had already struck a deal to buy her next-door- neighbour’s six-bedroom villa to demolish it and make room for the extension. Neighbours objected but now Michelle and Michael can press ahead.
Last night a spokeswoman said: “I can confirm that Michelle is in talks about a TV role in Los Angeles.”
