Guide to postal prize
BOYS will be boys, but what about the girls? That’s exactly what a small group of brave girls demanded when they gatecrashed the first Boy Scouts rally at Crystal Palace, south London, in 1909.
This anniversary is celebrated on the latest set of Royal Mail stamps issued on Tuesday.
The four stamps highlight the four age-groups of Girlguiding UK, the largest youth organisation in the UK, and some of the exciting activities they undertake. For your chance to win one of 100 sets, answer the following question:
Who launched the Girl Guides in 19010?
To enter, call 0907 181 2794 or text SXSTAMP followed by your answer, name and address details to 86660 by Saturday.
