Puppy smuggling: Dogs Trust discuss illegally imported animals
Nine-year-old Milo is desperate to find a new home with a loving family. But it’s crucial he isn’t separated from his dad who he guides and reassures. Ozzi is 12 years old and went blind due to cataracts. The two dogs are inseparable - Ozzi loves to be brushed and enjoys a snuggle on the sofa. Meanwhile, Milo likes playing with toys.
The four-legged friends are looking for a quiet adult home with no other pets.
They are currently based at the Dogs Trust in Newbury, Berkshire.
The Dog Trust describes Ozzi as “very sweet” and Milo as “sweet natured” – which sounds like the perfect family pet.
It’s not clear why they are looking for a new home.
However, during the Covid lockdown, there’s been a rise in people looking to rehome dogs as people struggled to look after their pets.
According to the Dogs Trust Milo and Ozzi would prefer to be rehomed in a quiet, rural area.

The Dogs Trust advertisement wrote: “Milo is looking for a calm, patient, adult home with owners who are willing to take the time to improve his behaviour on walks.”
It would also be useful if their new owner had previous experience looking after a blind dog.
Both dogs are housetrained but may have the "odd accident" overnight.
