Police extremely concerned about missing Caitlin Wright last seen in shopping centre
FEARS were growing today for the safety of missing girl Caitlin Wright who was last seen in a shopping centre in Burton-upon-Trent.
The 14-year-old was last seen near Primark in Burton-upon-Trent, Staffs, yesterday morning and the police say they are "extremely concerned about her welfare". Caitlin disappeared from Burton-upon-Trent at around 11:30am. She is from Swadlincote and police think she could have travelled to Birmingham. She was wearing a red, white and blue hoodie and she has a black nose ring. A Derbyshire Police spokesman said: “We’re very concerned for the safety of missing Derbyshire teenager Caitlin Wright who was last seen in Burton town centre this morning.
"Caitlin who is 14, was last seen near to Primark, in Coopers Square at around 11.30am.
"It is thought that Caitlin may have travelled to Birmingham."
The police also said: “Anyone who has seen Caitlin, or knows of her whereabouts, is asked to contact Derbyshire police quoting reference number 682 of 29 December.
