'Oh here we go!' Audience member heckles Jeremy Corbyn over climate change warning
JEREMY CORBYN was heckled during his election debate with Boris Johnson last night when he warned climate change would hit the poorest hardest.
ITV Debate: Corbyn heckled by audience over climate change
Labour Leader Jeremy Corbyn emphasised the importance of addressing climate change during his debate against Boris Johnson. When the Labour leader dubbed climate change the biggest ssue facing the world an audience member could mocking him. Mr Corbyn was then forced to pause, glaring into the audience before continuing with his speech.
The Labour leader said: “It is the most massive issue facing the whole world.
“Especially when the poorest people in the poorest countries in the whole world lose out.”
An audience member can then be heard interrupting to say “oh, here we go” causing the Labour leader to pause and stutter over his words.
Mr Corbyn continued: “They lose out because of flooding and unusual weather patterns.

“When we have unusual weather patterns in this country when we have extreme levels of air pollution we have to have a green industrial revolution.
“A revolution where we invest in the future in sustainable industries and jobs and prevent continuing damage to our natural world and our environment.”
The Labour Party has come under for their expensive plans regarding climate change and environmental policies.
The Labour Party has insisted they will create a carbon-neutral energy system by the 2030s including insulation upgrades for homes in the UK.

This comes in addition to their plans to work towards a net-zero carbon economy 20 years ahead of the government’s legally binding 2050 target.
During the ITV debate, Jeremy Corbyn was also criticised for failing to clearly answer what his stance was on Brexit.
Mr Corbyn was called out by both host Julie Etchingham and the Tory leader when he refused to answer which side he would campaign for in a second referendum.

He said: "We will negotiate an agreement and we will put that alongside remain in a referendum."
Ms Etchingham said: "I'm noting here of course we haven't heard whether you would campaign for remain or to leave in that situation."
Mr Johnson said: "You'll notice, Julie. I have answered your questions, but there is a glaring lacuna still in this debate.
We still don't know. Is Jeremy Corbyn going to campaign for the deal he proposes to do or is he going to invite his Labour colleagues to destroy it? That's my question."
