Lauren Wheeler has now shared a picture of the “disgusting” rant which was written by a furious resident who claimed their driveway was blocked by her vehicle. The note, written in block capitals in black pen, said: “Don’t care if you’re an ambulance you can’t block people’s driveways! Either ask or f***ing come out when we beep the horn for 10 minutes.”
Love getting cute notes in my job
Ms Wheeler posted the note on Facebook under the caption: “Love getting cute notes in my job” with a laughing crying emoji.
Outraged Facebook users were swift to condemn the anonymous author of the vile letter which is understood to have been left on the emergency vehicle in Southend-on-Sea, Essex.
Sarah Lovegrove commented: “Omg!! How rude. Let’s hope they never need an ambulance.”
Camille Wyre posted: “Oh my God that’s disgusting!!!”
Nina Louise Philpott said: “He may need you one day!!!”
Another appalled Facebook member wrote: “Wow, really got time to knock and ask or just pop out while possibly trying to save someone’s life!”

It was not the first time ambulance staff have faced abuse from fellow road-users.
An abusive note branding paramedics “blind idiots” was left on the windscreen of an ambulance parked in Luton, Bedfordshire, last August.
The East of England Ambulance Service posted a picture of the note on their social media saying: “Is your parking space really more important than a neighbour’s life?”
In April a paramedic on an emergency call was called “appalling” by a resident after the emergency services parked on their driveway whilst trying to save a young girl’s life.
A note left on North East Ambulance Service emergency response worker Chris Nixon’s vehicle said: “Your behaviour is appalling and you should be held responsible for your actions as ‘professional driver’.”
The letter ends without the culprit’s name, and is signed off from: “Resident who can’t get to his house!”

And in December last year, an ambulance in Manchester was left with an abusive note filled with expletives.
The unknown writer complained that they would be late for work.
A North West Ambulance Service spokeswoman said the abuse was “absolutely uncalled for” and “our patients are our number one priority”.
She said: “This note was left on an ambulance today in Manchester whilst ambulance clinicians were treating a critically ill patient.
“We hate to get in the way but the needs of our patients are our number one priority and abuse like this is absolutely uncalled for.”
