Thou shalt study the Bible
ONLY one person in 20 can name all Ten Commandments in the Bible – and 16 per cent can’t name any, a survey reveals.
And despite the success of the musical Joseph And The Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat, 57 per cent still know nothing about Joseph and his brothers.
In the study by Durham University, 900 people were interviewed across the country. It found that many young people thought the Bible was “old fashioned”, “irrelevant” and “for Dot Cottons”, in a mocking reference to the church-going EastEnders character.
