London PANIC: Heron Tower SEALED OFF after ‘loud bang and falling debris'
THE Heron Tower skyscraper in London was sealed off following a huge explosion resulting in falling debris - caused by a boiler located at the top of the landmark.
The massive building in Bishopsgate that forms the Capital’s skyline was shut off after witnesses reported armed police flocking to the scene. Officers remain on the scene and have confrmed the incident was caused by a large boiler. Police vans were blocking the road, but the cordon has since been lifted.

Social media users swarmed Twitter airing their concerns.
One said: “Not sure what’s going on at Heron Tower, but we heard the massive bang in our office just up the road. It spooked us all.”
Another said: “Heron Tower and adjacent roads have been closed, in #Bishopsgate, after a possible explosion. Armed police have responded to the incident and further details are as of yet unclear.”
Another Twitter user said he heard the noise come from the roof of the skyscraper.
He said: “Was in an external facing room in the Salesforce Tower/Heron Tower - heard the bang then saw something fall and what looked like torn up paper float pass.”
Another said: “Problems at Heron Tower Bishopsgate massive bang.”

Express.co.uk have contacted City of London Police for a comment.
Some suggested scaffolding could have come lose and fallen off the building, though this is yet to be confirmed.
Police have since confirmed roads have now reopened.
