SAVAGE street clashes in London left three police officers injured and at least nine arrested after violence erupted between Tottenham Hotspur and Ajax fans last night.

Scotland Yard confirmed the injuries as the two sets of fans brawled on High Road in north London on Tuesday night. The violence led to some onlookers taking cover behind a bus stop. Sections of both supporters were seen throwing glass bottles and cones amid the violent scenes.
An eyewitness told the Daily Star: "I was just walking to Tottenham Hale Station and heard some glass shatter and looked up to see these fans just yelling at each other.
"I looked around and didn't see anyone other than some people wearing yellow jackets by the 'Tottenham Hale Station' screen in the video.
"I couldn't tell if they were police or stewards from the stadium."
A Met Police spokesman confirmed the condition of the police officers is not serious.
The Met confirmed nine people were arrested on Tuesday night.
A police spokesman said: "As of 9.25pm on Tuesday, a total of nine arrests have been made.
"At around 7.15pm on April 30, a group of fans began throwing missiles outside the stadium.
"Officers intervened and arrested around four people.

"Three officers sustained injuries — none serious.
Earlier on Tuesday, thousands of Ajax fans had descended on Central London as their side prepared to play Tottenham.
Uniformed police were reportedly in place inside the Tottenham's new stadium to detect any apparent threat.
