London bloodbath - Man stabbed to death in hotel lobby, 11 arrested for murder
A MAN was stabbed and died in a hotel lobby on Euston Street in Camden last night and 11 people are being held on suspicion of murder.

Police were called at 10:44pm and the victim was pronounced dead at the scene at 11:31pm last night, Monday February 18. The victim entered the resception of the Wesley Hotel in Euston Street before collapsing in the lobby. Metropolitan police officers attended the scene along with the London ambulance service and found a man suffering from stab injuries. The eleven people arrested on suspicion of murder are in custody in separate London police stations.
A hotel worker, who gave his name as Tarek, said the unnamed victim died in the hotel shortly after he opened the doors and cried for help.
He said: "I wasn't here but I know a man came in, bleeding and crying for help at around 10.30pm.
"He'd been stabbed and staff took him to a room downstairs.
"They rang for help but he bled out downstairs and died."
In a statement to the press, Metropolitan Police said: “He was pronounced dead at the scene at 23:31 hours.
“Enquiries have established that the male entered the lobby of the hotel from the street and then collapsed.
“Staff at the hotel immediately came to his aid, contacting the emergency services.
“Urgent enquiries are currently taking place to identify the victim and inform his next of kin.

“A post-mortem examination will take place in due course.
“The Homicide and Major Crime Command have been informed.
“Cordons are in place and officers remain on scene.”
