CRUFTS is back for another year for thousands of pampered pooches to show off their skills. But when is Crufts this year?
Crufts 2018: Manchester attack police dog hero honoured
The world’s biggest dog show started in 1891. The canine event tests dogs in a series of competitions relating to agility, obedience, heel work, flyball and breeding. Around 27,000 dogs take part every year, with more than 4.5 million viewers tuning in to see who will be crowned Best in Show.
This year will mark the 127th show, which has also been dubbed by the Guinness Book of Records as the world's largest dog show in 1991.
The Best in Show winners receive a replica of the solid silver Keddall Memorial Trophy, as well as a small cash prize of £100.
When is Crufts 2019?
This year’s competition will start on March 7 and last until March 10.
Here is the schedule:
Day 1 - Thursday March 7 – Gundog breeds
Day 2 - Friday March 8 – Working and pastoral breeds
Day 3 - Saturday March 9 – Terrier and hound breeds
Day 4 - Sunday March 10 – Toy and utility breeds
Some of the hopefuls competing in the shows this year are reigning champion owned by Yvette Short called CH Collooney Tartan Tease, otherwise known as Tease, the Scottish Whippet.

The show will be held at the NEC in Birmingham, like it was last year.
