Tyson girl dies in freak accident
BOXER Mike Tyson was at the bedside of his four-year-old daughter yesterday before she died after a freak accident at her home.
Exodus Tyson’s neck became caught in the cord of a treadmill at the family’s home gym.
The little girl was found by her seven-year-old brother Miguel who alerted their mother. She tried to resuscitate her daughter before she was rushed to hospital.
Former heavyweight champion Tyson, 42, was in Las Vegas at the time of the accident on Monday but flew to Phoenix, Arizona, to be at Exodus’ bedside.
A spokesman for Phoenix Police Department described the incident as a “tragic accident”.
