A MAN has been arrested on suspicion of murder after police swarmed a block of flats in Middlesbrough.

The 31-year-old man was seen being led away by officers following a large police presence in Grange Road at 3.00pm this afternoon.
Up to five police cars and vans were seen parked up outside.
Ambulance crews were also on the scene in the town centre block, located behind some law courts, after a body was found.
Cleveland Police said in a statement: “Officers were called to an incident in Grange Road in Middlesbrough just after 3pm today where a body was discovered.
“A 31-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of murder and currently remains in custody.
“Police are at the scene and our investigation is in its early stages.”
A North East Ambulance Service spokesman said: “We were called to a private address on Grange Road in Middlesbrough at 2.47pm today.
“We have despatched a double crewed ambulance and currently remain on scene.”
Forensics have since attended the scene and were seen in white suits coming out of two large police vans.
A police cordon remains in place.
