The 30-year-old Formula One driver has been busy this week rubbing shoulders with a stylish crowd during New York Fashion Week: Men's, but he still found the energy to enjoy a night on the town.
Making his way to the trendy SoHo neighbourhood, Lewis made sure he stood out from the crowd in one of his favourite statement jackets.
Opting for an unusual powder blue velour bomber, the Mercedes star teamed his trademark outerwear with a low-cut black vest, ripped jeans and stylish snakeskin sneakers.
Yesterday the world champion racer decided to get an inking at famed tattoo parlour Bang Bang NYC during his stint in the Big Apple.

Sharing a couple of shots of the work being done with his 1.5million Instagram followers, Lewis looked calm and composed while the skilled tattooist plunged the needle into his left shoulder.
He recently opened up about the significance of his body art and revealed each one of his designs holds a special meaning.
"I love my ink. They all have a meaning," Lewis told Men's Health. "I'm very strong in my faith, so I wanted to have some religious images.
"I've got Pieta, a Michelangelo sculpture of Mary holding Jesus after he came off the cross, on my shoulder.

"A sacred heart on my arm. Musical notes, because I love music. The compass on my chest is there because church is my compass.
"Family is everything for me, so I have 'family' written on the top, across my shoulders. 'Faith', obviously.
"And I have 'powerful beyond measure' written on my chest – it's a short bit I took out of a quote from the writer Marianne Williamson.
"On my back I have the cross and angel wings: rise above it, no matter what life throws at you."
