David Cameron makes surprise This Morning appearance as he jogs past live cooking feature
IT'S not everyday that you spot the British Prime Minister jogging in the middle of central London, but that's exactly what happened to the This Morning team today.
David Cameron jogged past the filming of This Morning today
During an outdoor cookery demonstration by Jasmine and Melissa Hemsley – the sisters behind the popular blog and cook book Hemsley + Hemsley – Amanda Holden, 44, spotted David Cameron out on his morning run.
"David Cameron is jogging on the Southbank," Amanda said. "Where is he? He's just gone past."
Wearing a loose-fitting navy blue t-shirt with black shorts, 48-year-old David jogged along in the sunshine with a male companion, but he was too focused on his work out to stop and chat.
Co-presenter Gok Wan, 40, who was filling in for regular host 53-year-old Phillip Schofield today, shouted after him.
The PM was out for a mid-morning run
"David, we've got smoothies," he said. "Do you want a smoothie, David?"
"I can't believe that," Amanda added. "Chase after him."
Later, she admitted that she thought the father-of-four was in great shape.
Amanda quipped: "He's in quite good nick can I say?"

Another tweeted: "David Cameron jogging on the Southbank. So brilliantly random."
Someone wrote: "David Cameron jogged by the This Morning outside cooking set, with two bodyguards. TWO BODYGUARDS. What the hell. Who does he think he is?"
