Piers Morgan downs champagne then walks home barefoot during Cannes Lions festival
CONTROVERSIAL journalist Piers Morgan has been living it up in the south of France during the Cannes Lions festival and he's definitely been appreciating the quality of wines and champagnes on offer during his trip.

The 50-year-old TV personality was pictured knocking back the fizz when he attended a private party in the French Riviera this week.
Propped up at the bar, Piers was seen hobnobbing as he slurped up the booze and reportedly stayed there all night.
Surrounded by bottles of champagne, vodka and beer, the newspaper editor was looking a little red-faced having caught the scorching sun on his holiday.
Dressed casually in an unbuttoned black shirt and beige chinos, it appeared Piers' evening of wine-tasting wore him out as he removed his shoes and walked home barefoot on the famous Promenade de la Croisette.

The father-of-four started the drinking early yesterday with a bottle of pink bubbly at a quaint French restaurant in the coastal city.
Positively beaming as the waiter filled his glass, the former CNN host looked cool and relaxed in an unbuttoned blue polo and dark sunglasses.
He proudly shared the photo with his 4.48million Twitter followers, with a jokey caption: "Another gruelling day at the coalface."
And the party didn't stop there, as Piers continued on into the evening at a star-studded yacht party where he rubbed shoulders with Kim Kardashian.

Sharing a picture of the pair in an animated conversation, he said: "Talking cricket (seriously) with @KimKardashian."
Before he jetted off on his luxurious break, Piers posted some controversial comments on Twitter about "the N-word" which sparked a heated debate.
"The N-word is used 500,000 times a day on Twitter alone," he said. "Mostly by young black Americans. How does that help get rid of this hideous word? I don't think anyone should use the N-word. This apparently makes me a 'racist'. Ludicrous."
Piers continued: "The N-word, like the Confederate flag, is a sickening reminder of America's shameful past. Get rid of both & move the country on. What would I do with white people who use the N-word? Jail them."
"By the way, I love America," he added. "Just don't like guns, the N-word, racism or Madonna."
