ROD STEWART and his family have begun recording a reality TV show, it's been reported.

The 70-year-old rocker and is nearest and dearest are said to be recording a new show at their Los Angeles home - which will rival The Osbournes from a few years ago.
Rod and his wife, Penny Lancaster, agreed to do the show with US network E! which means they could also be competition for popular reality show Keeping Up With The Kardashians.
A source close to the family told the Daily Mirror: "Rod is very proud of his family and he wants to show everyone that.
"He will star very much as the dad, and it will show he has kept things together."

Rod and Penny have two children together, Alastair, nine, and Aiden, four, but Rod's older children, Sean, 34, and Kimberly, 35 will also take part.
"Sean has a very prominent role as does Kimberly," the source added.
"There will be some ups and downs but they are keen to show that the Stewart’s are close and they enjoy themselves.

The part-scripted show is set to be aired across the world from June.
