Charitable guy: Daniel Craig to play James Bond for Comic Relief skit
HE MIGHT be a serious actor when it comes to Spectre but Daniel Craig is preparing to poke fun at himself in the name of charity.
Daniel Craig is set to play James Bond for a Comic Relief skit
The 47-year-old actor will play the part of James Bond in a sketch for Comic Relief, it has been revealed.
The actor - who is currently filming new Bond 24 movie Spectre - will appear in a special one-off sketch but details are under lock and key.
Details about the hilarious skit will be under strict security until the show airs on Friday March 13.
It's hoped Daniel will be well enough for the performance after it was revealed just weeks after injuring his knee on the set of Spectre, the star was injured behind the wheel while filming a high-speed car chase.
Daniel is said to have hit a pot hole on one of the Italian capital's cobbled streets while driving 007's state of the art silver Aston Martin DB10.
