Stephen Fry has denied rumours he is planning on starting a family with his husband Elliott Spencer
Speculation arose about the pair's plans to have a baby after the TV star recently gave his first interview since tying the knot with 27-year-old comedian Elliott.
In his chat with The Sun, the host of this year's BAFTA Awards apparently hinted the newlyweds would soon hear the "patter of tiny feet".
However, when asked on Twitter whether he had "baby plans", Stephen, 57, replied: "No don't believe what you read in the papers!"
He further dismissed The Sun's claims in another tweet today and wrote:"Ha! Weird report that I gave an interview to the Sun. Not true."

He added: "And that I am 'planning to have a family' not true. Spelt my name right though."
Stephen and Elliot tied the knot this month despite only having been together for a few months.
Elliot is said to have "put a smile back on Stephen's face".
Stephen said he had been "deeply touched" by the support from his fans since the engagement was announced.
