FORMER footballer David Beckham has followed in the footsteps of wife Victoria to launching his own brand.

Becks is set to put his name on a whole range of branded products in a new joint business venture with Simon Fuller.
The duo are hoping to cash in on Brand Beckham and are keen to get other celebrities involved in the company.
Speaking at a press conference about the launch in China, the father-of-four said: "Throughout my career, I’ve had quite a few sponsorship deals.
"This takes it to a different level for me.

"I’ve gone from being in a sponsorship deal to being an owner."
The 39-year-old, who already fronts products for Adidas, Diageo and Calvin Klein, has agreed a worldwide licensing deal with Global Brands Group.
The Hong Kong based firm owns Calvin Klein and Tommy Hilfiger, and has experience with celebrity lines, including Jennifer Lopez and Rachel Zoe.
According to Women's Wear Daily, the brand will capitalise on "Beckham's star power and status as one of the world's most famous sports and style icons", while Simon Fuller will bring a "deep understanding of consumers, talent, and sports and entertainment rights."
It is thought the new Beckham brand will focus on sportswear.

Fuller, who also helped establish Victoria Beckham's fashion empire, said: "This is much more than Beckham Brands.
"There will be other superstars joining."
No doubt David will be taking advice from his designer wife, whose fashion line was recently awarded the Best Brand prize at the British Fashion Awards.
The footballing legend, who has previously designed lines for H&M and Belstaff, was there to support his wife at the glamorous event.

As the 40-year-old took to the stage to claim the accolade she paid tribute to her husband.
"Wow, thank you. I am so so proud to be British and incredibly proud to have built my brand in the UK," she began her speech with.
"I want to thank my team. I love you all so much and this is for all of you.
"We've come a long way since that Spice Girls dressing room. David, you inspire me every day. You support me. You make this possible. I adore you and my children.
"And my parents, you love me unconditionally - and I know I am a pain in the bottom," she joked.
