I Don't Care! Cheryl brushes off X Factor mime claims
CHERYL Fernandez-Versini, formally Cole, is the talk of the entertainment world after performing on the X Factor over the weekend.
Cheryl Fernandez-Versini has brushed off X Factor mime claims
There has been a debate raging on social media surrounding the judge's performance, with many questioning whether or not the Girls Aloud star sang her new single I Don't Care live.
A representative for X Factor confirmed the star was singing live but said she had prerecorded the performance earlier that day.
Although the singer hasn't directly addressed the miming claims with an official statement, it seems the conversation surrounding the performance got too much for her.
On her Instagram page she retaliated when a fan commented on a snap of her new album cover.
The fan asked: "Do we get discount on your mimed performance you did on sat?"
Cheryl commented back: "Aww bless you live performances are not included on albums I’m afraid. And I performed on Sunday!
The star's comments have since disappeared but it seems the debate around her X Factor performance is still rumbling on.

With an incredible light show and a troupe of dancers behind her, Cheryl really did put on a show.
But viewers were split with many saying the singer couldn't possibly keep up such a strenuous dance routine and sing so perfectly.
The singer was accused of not singing live on social media
The star wore an all-white ensemble for her performance
Cheryl's loyal fans, however, were on the defence - much to the singer's pleasure.
Anthony Ergo, a Twitter user, said: "Had the misfortune to catch some of the X factor last night, only to see Cheryl Cole blatantly miming. Embarrassing."
While Dean Johnson added: "…why would they pre record it, if she was singing live anyways?? She contradicts what the x factor is about"
One happy Twitter user had a reply from the singer when she tweeted: "everything about that performance was perfect. You slayed "
Cheryl re-posted on her Twitter feed, adding "Thank you babe."
It's not the first time Cheryl has been involved in a miming row. Back in 2009 the show's creative director Brian Friedman said if the star mimed during her performance it wouldn't matter.

With all the dancing people were surprised to learn she was singing live
He told BBC'S Newsbeat five years ago: "I have not heard that Cheryl's pre-recording.
"I can only compare this to other performers out there; Michael Jackson, Janet Jackson, Beyonce, Britney Spears. They've all mimed at award shows and other various occasions.
"This is not Cheryl's competition. She's already competed in one before on TV, she's proven herself as an artist so I don't think it would really matter."
Daily Express online have contacted the X Factor for an official comment.
