'Never been more proud' Robbie Williams praises wife Ayda as they welcome baby boy
ROBBIE Williams has said that he has "never been more in love and never been more proud of my wife" as he announced the birth of his baby son.
The former Take That star has been updating fans on the progress of Ayda's labour via his twitter page with a number of online videos and pictures updates.
In the run-up to the birth of their second child, Robbie, 40, provided fans with an online commentary which was concluded with a clip of the proud parents speaking of their joy at welcoming their son.
"I've never been more in love and never been more proud of my wife, she's been absolutely astonishing," he told his Twitter followers.

"It's been a very emotional, amazing few hours and we're really happy and honoured that you experienced the journey with us."
The couple, who has a daughter Theodora together, revealed their baby son weighed 8lbs 2oz but admitted they were still thinking about a name.
Earlier in the night, Robbie had posted several clips and updates to his Twitter account, including a clip of him singing Candy to his wife.

He also posted a snap of Ayda wearing a pair of sparkling high heeled shoes, writing: "When Ayda goes into labour she comes correct :) RW x."
Robbie and Ayda married in the grounds of his Beverly Hills mansion in August 2010 and their daughter was born two years later.
