Katie Hopkins flees X Factor studios after insulting boy band Stereo Kicks
SHE normally stands her ground when expressing her opinions, but last night Katie Hopkins wasn't so brave.
The 39-year-old star was left a little shaken up during her appearance on the Xtra Factor on Sunday night and decided to flee the studios after upsetting friends and family of boy band Stereo Kicks.
During her time on the show, Katie was asked which acts she disliked on this year's series and, of course, she didn't hold back.
Taking aim at the boy band, she said: "Stereo Kicks, can’t stand them. Eight people, why do we need eight? They stand in a line like they’re waiting for a bus."
She then added: "They look like teenage boys waiting at an STI clinic to find out some really bad news. 'Oh my God, what have I caught, who have I slept with, what have I caught?'"

However, Katie wasn't aware just how much her comments would anger the family of the boys - especially their mothers.
According to The Sun, a show source said: "The families began shouting and hurling abuse.
"One of the mums was right up in her face, saying that she looked like a horse and was despicable."
They continued: "One of them asked how she’d like it if people abused her children.
"Katie was rattled — and in the end security and her own chaperone sneaked her out the back way.
"She is tough, but even Katie was rattled by their reaction.
"She said afterwards that it was far more intense than most of the backlashes she has faced in the past — yet Katie also admitted that it was probably fair enough," they added.
However, today Katie wasn't so scared and took to her Twitter page to respond to the news.
"Stereo Kicks lynch mob of mums had a right to have their say. All lower order animals attack to defend their young. And this lot were hairy," she posted.
