Police called to home of Coronation Street star Kate Ford following alleged assault
SOAP star Kate Ford found herself caught up in a nasty row this weekend, which resulted in the police being called to her home.
Their relationship problems are their problems. There is nothing going on between me and Paul and never has been
Kate, who plays Tracy Barlow in the ITV1 soap, explained to The Sun: "There was a domestic at my house but it was nothing to do with me.
"Paul was picking up his boy and had been at my home half an hour when this woman turned up and refused to leave."
She continued: "She came into my house because he was not home on time and started this blazing row. His timetable is nothing to do with me. If he was supposed to be home an hour earlier and he was late, why is that my problem?

The Coronation Street actress reportedly yelled: "Get out of my house, you b****" when her friend's lover turned up at 8pm.
According to The Sun, Kate had been enjoying a few glasses of wine with her male pal Paul - who had come to collect his six-year-old son who had been playing with Kate's son Otis.
However, 30 minutes later the man's girlfriend showed up at Kate's door demanding to know why he wasn't home yet.
The newspaper reports that the row spilled out onto the street which resulted in the police being called after Paul's ex-wife showed up to collect their son.
The mother-of-one admitted that she had lost her cool as the row escalated at her house in Dulwich, South London.
"I had drunk three glasses of wine and was slightly tipsy but not drunk," she added.
"Wouldn’t you say ‘F*** off you b****, get out of my house, you’ve been here for hours?’
"How would you feel if the ex-wife then turns up at your house with the police?"
Proving that she's nothing like her Corrie character, Kate went on to say: "I’m a good mother and a good person. We’d had three glasses of wine. I’m a very quiet person and don’t get involved in scandal."
