Making a statement: Helen Mirren stuns in a classic lace gown at The Hundred Foot premiere
DAME Helen Mirren has been busy promoting her latest film but that doesn't stop her looking every inch the racy lady in lace.
The 69-year-old actress radiated sophisticated glamour at 'The Hundred Foot Journey' premiere in Deauville, France yesterday.
The Queen star posed up a storm as she put on an elegant sartorial display in a sexy black lace dress, which featured long-sleeves and a figure-hugging skirt.
Dame Helen teamed the sheer black number, which showed off her slender frame, with matching heels and diamond accessories as she smiled for the cameras.
Joining the talented thespian were her co-stars Manish Dayal and Charlotte Lebon, who stunned in stand out geometric print dress.
Later on in the day Dame Helen's flawless fashion continued when she attended a photocall for the film, in Normandy as part of the 40th Deauville American Film Festival.
She turned heads in a colourful tapestry dress which featured a sassy hemline sitting right above her knees.
Earlier this week, the veteran star poked fun at Hollywood's nude photo hacking scandal, insisting she felt "insulted" not to have been included among the famous female victims.
High-profile including Jennifer Lawrence and Kirsten Dunst were thrust into the spotlight this week when nude pictures were stolen from their Apple iCloud storage accounts and published on the Internet.
Mirren told Magic FM, "I was rather insulted my phone (cloud account) wasn't hacked, actually.
"I kept desperately looking at the list of people whose phones were hacked, hoping to see my name. You weren't anybody if your phone hadn't been hacked!"
She continued:"Who on earth would put nude photos of themselves on their phones anyway? That I don't quite get."
Dame Helen finished by urging the long list of Hollywood stars affected by the hacking scandal to laugh it off and move on.
She added:"The best thing to do is not to take it so seriously."
