The force is BACK! Harrison Ford walks unaided ahead of resuming Star Wars filming
HE HURT his leg on the latest Star Wars film set earlier this year but Harrison Ford appears to be in good health once again.
The 72-year-old was spotted strolling down a Los Angeles street yesterday looking fit and healthy with his leg looking fine.
Without a cast or crutches, the star was perhaps hinting he's eager to return to work on the hotly anticipated sci-fi film.
The veteran actor was forced to halt filming his role as Han Solo in Star Wars: Episode VII in early June after his left leg was crushed in an onset accident.
He underwent surgery and returned to the U.S. to begin his recovery and rehabilitation, and now it appears he will soon be ready to get back to work.
Filming was also suspended for two weeks this month so director J. J. Abrams could rework shooting in Ford's absence.
But with Harrison appearing to have made a full recovery, it's now been confirmed he will be resuming work alongside his fellow actors on the cult franchise movie.
When asked whether Ford will get back to work this month, a spokesperson for the film told the Daily Mirror: "Yes, absolutely."
With action man Harrison back on track, filming on Star Wars: Episode VII is expected to finish in the autumn.
Star Wars Episode 7 is scheduled for release in UK cinemas on December 18 2015
