Susanna Reid and Ben Shepherd come face to face with their Muppet counterparts on GMB
SUSANNA Reid and Ben Shepherd came face to face with their Muppet counterparts on Good Morning Britain earlier today - and the likeness was uncanny.
The hosts of the breakfast TV show larked around with their furry friends, who were made especially for the TV appearance, with Susanna joking that hers looked a little bit like Miss Piggy.
"It's a lovely thing to have a Muppet made of yourself!" she said.
"And there's something a bit Miss Piggy about this one."
Sporting the same colour as her puppet namesake, Susanna looked stunning as she took the reigns, clearly enjoying her role as a puppeteer for the day.
She wore a flattering red dress which billowing sleeves while her raven-haired Muppet wore a spaghetti strap frock and bright red lipstick.
Ben's meanwhile - which donned a green skin tone - looked dapper in a grey suit and white shirt - similar to Ben's own grey two piece.
"There's something quite Kermit like about your Muppet actually," joked Susanna at one point..
"What, that it's green?" he joked back.

The pair later took to their website for a special clip, where they jokingly mocked the presenters - including themselves - of GMB.
"I don't know who the Muppets are that host this show," exclaimed Susanna's counterpart.
"They should call it Good Muppet Britain!"
Good Morning Britain airs weekdays at 6am on ITV.
